Hey all,

I know we have a book club, and an anime cafe, but I wanted to see if there was anyone interested in manga, and if so, lets have a discussion about favorites and manga currently in circulation.

I am keeping current with solo leveling and Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen.

Awwww yisss!! Just look at the tabs I currently have open for Manga/Manhwa
Though all those little globes are links to mangadex that I have to connect to my VPN for because Verizon hates them for some reason..

Some of the ones of note are Nagatoro-san (RomCom), Karaki Jozou Motto (Comedy), Solo Leveling (Action of course), A Returners Magic Should be Special (Action as well), The Monstrous Duke's Adopted Daughter (Wholesome) just to name a few.

  • 2 weeks later...

I read my first manga ever a couple weeks ago: Akame ga Kill! Zero (1)

Since mangas can be very different from the anime, I am hesitant to read most of them. It's a weird peculiarity of mine, but I seriously dislike having two different versions of a story in my mind.

In terms of light novels I am the happy owner of Monogatari's First Season and Final Season. I am waiting for Second Season to become available again on rightstufanime... then it will be complete. They're very faithfully adapted by the anime series. 🙂

I just feel like manga is the source, the true story

I agree with that! It's the OG, not the adaptation.
